Ok.. so in a perfect world we can't so much predict what our lifestyle will be enjoying. Heck fire the world could end by 12-12-12! Just in case we survive, and all indicators are that we will... what are we going to do, where are we going to travel, how are we taking care of our aging parents? What are our entertainment preferences? What music will we listen to? What do we want to see in movies, literature, fiction, self help? Do we indulge in printed publications like newspapers, magazines, newsletters? Do we have favorite on line news sources? What are your choices for baby boomer relevant content. Consumerism: How tired are you of companies professing their devotion to the 'youth market', citing as justification - youth have more money to spend than baby boomers do? From clothing to reality shows, what is out there for us? Do we need a consumer advocacy committee to teach big bidnezz et all about the largest living demographic in the history of humankind? Social Responsibility and Political Upheaval. How are we taking care of our health? Diet and exercise? Do we have our last wishes stashed in a safe place? Do we want our caregivers to pull the plug, make sure there is sufficient morphine, freeze us and launch into space for some future society to revive? What do we really mean by quality of life? What lessons have we learned from caring for our aging parents, family and friends? To what lengths do we go to make sure our beloved elders have the best life quality? Are there services that should be available for the aging like, companionship, overseer, transportation, travel, personal care? Are you still faced with these decisions? Are dementia care and remedies working? Do you see any improvement for our times to come? Do you believe altzimers is caused by chemical or environmental factors? How do you survive the emotional impact and social repercussions of dementia in our elders. How do we communicate? Are cell phones, text messengers, chat lines, email a part of our every day lives? How do we transfer from work to home? Technology? Computers - how many are too much? Do your parents and elder family and friends have access to email via computer or other service? Have you noticed increase in mental capacity with computer use (games, email, etc) for ourselves and our elders? Sanity: Conspiracy theorist? Are we alone in the universe? Spirituality: Religion - Church Contributions: Favorite Charity? Preferred hands on work? Legacy: Everyone has a story have you written yours? Have you heard and documented all family stories and those of dear elder friends? Where is (are) our retirement homes to be? Do we prefer cities, rural, untamed mountains, warm beach? Will we downsize our possessions or continue the contest? Where is the money going to come from? Will we still be working? Will we be paper or plastic -izing it or will there be fries with that? Or how about Welcome To Wal-Mart? Or a Food demo lady at Sam's Club? Do we have an entrepreneurial spirit, is self employment in our goals?
